Addiction of Electronics
Do you also have the same views on usage of Electronics, nowadays.
I feel it; it’s not less than addiction.
People get addicted to smoking, alcohol, drugs etc. and when we confront such people we advise them to leave all these for their benefit.
However, what would you say to someone who is addicted to Electronics?
Electronics addiction is enormously harmful like Drugs addiction. The sad part is it’s just not engulfing adults but also to kids under 10 years of age. The day will not be far when we can live without food but not without Electronics.
Electronic devices improve our lives but simultaneously take over lives.
Just have a thought, how we interact with our families, friends. Yeah, we can say we have a list of thousand friends but how many of them are really meant to be called as your friend?
Life is getting easier day by day and lovable relationships are getting more prone to a syndrome called “convenience relationship”.
Somewhere in between we are losing our own self in the fast moving era of Electronics.
We prefer to go out of the house for physical activity since we want some mentor and people around us to lose some calories. We are putting kids in different activities but we seriously don’t care about spending quality time with our kids.
Does this not seem to be convenient and that’s what I call “ convenient relationships”.
We are gaining so much but we are also losing that much or more than that because of electronics.
Get a glimpse of it’s side effects:
- Body Aches/headache
- Weight gain/loss
- Vision problem
- Mood swings
- Fear of losing your favourites
Let’s get aware of what we can do to avoid to be the victim of this addiction:
Keep a sharp check on your screen time.
Turn off App notifications which are actually not so important.
Don’t get hooked on every other app.
Limit your social media.
Limit your False Fake relationships and be more focused on what you are aiming for.
It’s better to be late than never.
Don’t bring yourself in a situation where “things get out of your hands so swiftly”.
Last but not least, I think there should be some rehab centres to get rid of “Electronics addiction”.
The problem does not look big today but critically it will become very troublesome someday. What do you say about it?
